What to expect:

2pm Opening circle and introductions

2:15pm Extended restful practice

Over 105 minutes, unwind and cultivate softness as Vicky and Sarah co-teach an extended practice.

Beginning with a 45-minute Yin flow led by Sarah, moving between supported shapes to stretch into energetic lines connected to Winter’s element of water. A blend of easeful flow and longer held shapes.

Then leading into a 45-min restorative practice with Vicky, where stillness and softening develop further alongside one another supporting the body fully in longer held postures to cultivate further relaxation.

And finally a 15-min yoga Nidra, a meditative form of ‘yoga sleep’ to calm body and mind alike.

4pm Scandi candle decorating and treats

With January a month where the nights can feel long, we’re sharing traditional Scandinavian candle decorating. No artistic credentials are needed. We’ll provide you with a choice of candles and wax decorations which you can cut, arrange and stick to create wonderful patterns. A lovely memento of the day to take with you and light at home to bring some joy to the dark evenings.

Alongside delicious Swedish and Danish sweet treats and teas.

5pm Closing circle and goodbyes
